Adventi announces its support for the 2009 Scottish Education Awards

Adventi, Scotland’s fastest growing IT business is pleased to announce its support for the 2009 Scottish Education Awards and the sponsorship of the ICT Learning Award. Commenting on the support Eddie Chance, Chief Executive Officer at Adventi said, “Firstly, we are delighted to be supporting the Scottish Education Awards. Our involvement with schools in both the primary and secondary sector is long established and we believe passionately in the advancement of learning through the use of information technology in the classroom.  This is the first time we have sponsored this category and we are looking forward to rewarding the success of those schools who submit entries.”
The Scottish Education Awards were first launched in November 2001 with the specific aims of celebrating the successes and recognising the achievements taking place within Scottish education.

Entry to the Awards is open to all publicly funded schools, including secondary, primary, nursery and special schools. There is a wide variety of school categories to enter such as ICT Learning, Health & Wellbeing and Determined to Succeed. There are also individual categories which seek to recognise the dedication and commitment of teaching staff and education supporters.

Nominations are open from now until Friday 27th February and the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony this June. To make a nomination, go to www.scottisheducationawards.org.uk
